The overall finish color and grain superb but the finish toughness leaves much to be desired...we assembled the unit on a hardwood floor and after turning it on its top and attaching the end pieces the top had several fine scratches in it and even though they are fine the scratches went through the finish ruining the integrity of the woodgrain etc. Missing a few screws, had to substitute some that I had for assembly.If I could hold off to a three to four foot distance it wouldn't look too bad. The wimpiness of the finish makes me wonder how long the desk will look decent.

Sauder has taken a relatively large desk and made the assembly so easy a child could do it. I have bought several Sauder items and they are consistent. The result is a very attractive addition to my den. The Carolina Oak is a very nice color. I have two filing cabinets in the same color. NO complaints, definitely 5 stars.

After searching many sites and various desks, I chose this Sauder Orchard Hills Corner Computer Desk. The desk is excellent quality, looks very professional, easy to put together, and was reasonably priced. Was shipped by Office Depot quickly.

the contact paper looking stuff that covers the pressed wood makes it feel cheap and it scratches very easy. But over all it look good.
